Google Music Beta for Linux
I received an email last night that Google has released the source and various packages for Music Beta. It did not come with the ability to control and modify settings via command line. This is all fine and dandy except the server that all of my music is on does not have a desktop environment by preference.
I’m never actually on my server, and it’s by far easier to SSH into it...

If you often use SSH, I basically found Pidgin in ASCII:
http://developer.pidgin.im/
Pop open your terminal and type:
sudo apt-get install finch
You could alternatively use Yum to install this package. Once installed, simply setup the chat program like you would pidgin. for GChat and Facebook, you’ll have to manually add the server settings. If you’re resourceful enough...

Server Migration
Moved from old hosting to my own hosting. Not that any of you will notice thanks to tumblr letting me point this subdomain’s A record to a static IP and Apache’s fancy little mod_rewrite feature. It’s too bad you wont get to enjoy the slowness I’ve created… Really was a great learning experience though.

I ported my original blog design over to tumblr. It took forever because I did a bad job setting it up in the first place. After correcting just a couple of errors I managed to even validate it XHTML 1.0 transitional. CSS is a different story, but I’m finding it difficult to part with the awesome firefox shadow effects.
Some things I would like to get added:
